Registration and General Information

The Dunedin Highlanders are a top tier organization with high standards anf community involvement. Players seeking this type of football are encouraged to register.

1. REGISTRATION: Players can register with the team at the link above. Registration is the first step of the process and does NOT automatically guarantee a roster spot. If selected, you will be invited to a Tryout. 

2. PLAYER FEES: TBD (estimated is $400 total. This includes a $100 uniform deposit, plus a $300 Player Participation Fee. Creative sponsorship options available to cover some or all of Player Fees, including three options:

3. UNIFORMS: Highlanders will provide two sets of uniforms (Jerseys, Pants, Socks).

   A. Helmet and other equipment to be provided by the Player at the Player's expense.

   B. Player is required to provide their own team approved football helmet. Highlanders Helmets are ULTRA MATTE WHITE.

      1. If purchasing a new helmet, purchase the helmet in the Matte White.

      2. If painting a helmet, Player will be required to purchase paint and facemask paint from the Highlanders. All helmets and uniforms MUST be identical. NO EXCEPTIONS.

   C. Each Player will be provided one set of helmet decals. Additional decals may be purchased from the Highlanders. 

   D. Jersey Numbers will be determined by the General Manager. During registration, players should list their top 5 number preferences in the order of preference (1=First Choice, 5=Last Choice). Every effort will be made to accommodate requests. One criteria to determine jersey numbers will include if a Player has fully paid their Player Fee, but it is not the only criteria.

5. HOME FIELD (GAMES): Home Games will be played at Dunedin Memorial Stadium on the campus of Dunedin High School.

6. MEDICAL INSURANCE AND TREATMENT: Players are required to provide their own medical insurance and ALL medical related expenses are at the Player's expense. The Highlanders are not responsible in any way for injuries and medical treatment directly or indirectly related to participation and involvement with the Highlanders. Players assume all risk associated with participation. ,
