THE PRINCE FROM PORTUGAL HAS ARRIVED

DUNEDIN, FLORIDA, USA — The Dunedin Highlanders are proud to welcome their newest addition, “The Prince From Portugal,” Tyce Vitorino. The strong-legged, clutch-performing Kicker from the Dunedin High School Falcons joins The Highlanders with momentum and ambition, ready to make an immediate impact.

“I come from a soccer background. I joined the Falcons Football Team for my senior year and really enjoyed it,” Vitorino shared. “I’ve put in a lot of work to elevate my kicking abilities, and I’m excited to continue kicking for The Highlanders.”

Highlanders Head Coach Mike Fritz emphasized the value of the addition. “Having a solid Kicker is extremely important. Games are won and lost on special teams. Tyce is a wonderful young man, and he’s going to do great things for The Highlanders.”

Entering the 2026 season, the Highlanders identified the need to strengthen the kicking game—an area Vitorino fills with promise. Currently in his senior year, Vitorino excels not only on the football field but also as a standout soccer player for Dunedin High School. With proud Portuguese ancestry, his family is thrilled to watch him compete in the very stadium he has called home throughout his high school career.

The Dunedin Highlanders are an adult premier semi-pro and pro-developmental football team who play their home games at Dunedin Memorial Stadium. While the Highlanders continue to recruit across most positions, the Kicker position is now officially secured with Vitorino’s commitment.
