Highlanders Lock In Their QB1: Mack Graham is the Man

DUNEDIN, FLORIDA, USA - The Dunedin Highlanders have officially landed their quarterback — and it’s a major signing. The team announced the addition of Mack Graham, a proven winner and standout signal-caller who dominated with the Cherokee County (GA) Bruins from 2022 to 2025.

During his three-season run, Graham led the Bruins to an incredible 34–4 record, with one of those losses coming by forfeit. Under his leadership, the Bruins became a powerhouse program and reached the EAFL Championship Game in AAA this past June. Despite suffering an injury in the second quarter, Graham stayed in the fight, finishing the game as a true competitor. The Bruins narrowly fell 27–21 after leading early 21–7 — a testament to Graham’s toughness and leadership.

“Upgrading our quarterback position was our number one priority this offseason,” said Steve Korossy, President of The Highlanders. “We had plenty of talent across the roster, but we needed a true quarterback who could take command of the field. With Graham leading The Highlanders, we accomplished exactly that. His agility, field awareness, and football IQ are going to be something special to watch.”

Graham recently married his high school sweetheart, Sophie, and the couple has relocated to Florida to begin their next chapter together — both in life and in football.

“The Highlanders are fully committed to being a top-tier program and a driving force in the Dunedin community,” Korossy continued. “Mack’s record speaks volumes — he knows how to win, he knows how to lead through adversity, and with his Scottish heritage, there’s no better fit to lead The Highlanders.”

Rising Power in the UFLX

Founded in 2024, The Dunedin Highlanders made an immediate impact during their inaugural 2025 campaign. The team finished 8–4, reaching the second round of the playoffs and earning recognition as one of the top stories in the league. At one point, The Highlanders were ranked #1 in AA, steamrolling early opponents before hitting a late-season skid. The Highlanders lost a close game 25-20, in the second round of the playoffs, to the eventual AA Champions.

Now, the team enters a new era as a founding member of the Universal Football League Xtreme (UFLX) for the 2026 season — stronger, deeper, and more determined than ever.

“To be a championship-caliber program, you need depth at every position,” Korossy said. “We just added another playmaker in quarterback Kevin Hobley, who brings tremendous athleticism and versatility. We’re excited to have both Mack and Kevin competing and contributing this season.”

Eyes on 2026

The Highlanders have already kicked off offseason activities, with OTAs underway and team practices beginning October 23rd. The first regular-season game is scheduled for the first weekend of February 2026, with home games at Dunedin Memorial Stadium.

Season ticket information will be released soon as The Highlanders continue building momentum toward what promises to be a defining season in team history.
