2025 PAIA Champion & All-Indoor First Team QB Set to Throw at Evaluation Camp

STAR QB LUKE KENNEDY HEADLINES DUNEDIN HIGHLANDERS CLAN CHALLENGE

DUNEDIN, FLORIDA, USA – The Dunedin Highlanders are making a major statement to kick off the 2026 season. The team announced that Luke Kennedy, quarterback of the 2025 PAIA Arena Football Champion Peach State Cats and named All-Indoor Football Independent First Team QB, will be in attendance and throwing at The Highlanders’ upcoming Clan Challenge Evaluation Camp.

This is a big deal for players looking to showcase their skills. Having one of the top quarterbacks in the indoor game on the field instantly raises the level of competition and provides a rare chance for new talent to be evaluated alongside a proven champion.

The Clan Challenge marks the official start of Team Activities for the 2026 season and will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the 31st Street Sports Complex – Field #1 (4801 31st St. S., St. Petersburg, FL 33712).

All participants are required to wear black shorts, socks, cleats, gloves, and a mouth guard. Kilts are optional, in true Highlander tradition.

About the Dunedin Highlanders:
The Dunedin Highlanders were founded in 2024 and competed in the Elite American Football League (EAFL) during their inaugural season in 2025, finishing with a record of 8 wins and 4 losses. The Highlanders advanced to the second round of the playoffs, where they lost 26-20 to the eventual AA Champions. The Highlanders have committed to the Universal Football League Xtreme (UFLX) for the 2026 season. The UFLX is a new statewide league in Florida that has drawn significant interest from across the state. The UFLX has also announced their exclusive broadcast partnership with Varsity Sports Nation (VSN), who will live stream all UFLX games throughout the 2026 season.
