Dunedin Highlanders Announce the Signing of Dominant EDGE/TE Jordan Hunt

Dunedin, FL, USA – The Dunedin Highlanders are proud to announce the signing of standout EDGE rusher and tight end Jordan Hunt, formerly of the West Coast Warriors and Hernando County Hawks of the EAFL.

Hunt, who led the Warriors in both sacks and tackles for loss (TFLs) during the 2025 season, brings an unmatched level of grit, power, and versatility to the Highlanders defense—and offense. An imposing figure at 6’5” and 270 pounds, Hunt combines elite athleticism with raw physicality, making him a force to be reckoned with on the field.

Assistant General Manager Duke Dumont, who coached Hunt with the West Coast Warriors in 2025, emphasized Hunt’s unyielding mentality: “Jordan’s philosophy is simple—he’ll attack relentlessly until you quit. He’s never taken a play off, ever. I’ve seen it firsthand. He’s Gronk 2.0 on offense, and on defense he’s an absolute nightmare off the edge.”

In addition to his football pedigree, Hunt brings a commanding presence off the field. He serves as a correctional officer, leads a SWAT Team, and is a trained MMA fighter. “He is tough as hell,” Dumont added. “He brings the kind of toughness and leadership that can’t be taught.”

At tight end, Hunt offers a rare combination of size, hands, and physicality that makes him a mismatch for any defense. His dual-threat capability adds a dynamic edge to the Highlanders' offensive playbook.
