Big Game Includes Military Appreciation Night on May 10th

This Saturday, May 10, 2025, The Dunedin Highlanders (7-2) will host the Elite American Football League (EAFL) defending AA Champion North Florida Warriors (8-1). The game will feature Military Appreciation Night, which includes free admission for all military vets.

Back on March 1st, The Highlanders traveled to Ocala, FL for their first-ever game. The Highlanders returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown and never looked back, winning the game 31-20.

The Warriors have already locked up the #1 seed in the North Conference and will have a 1st Round bye in the playoffs. The Highlanders had a chance to lock up the #1 seed in the South Conference last week against the East Coast Sharks, but lost the game in triple overtime 14-12. The Highlaners still have a chance to lock up the #1 seed in the South, but will need some help. This Saturday, The Highlanders have to win against the Warriors and the Lakeland Jokers have to beat the East Coast Sharks, in Lakeland.

The EAFL Playoffs start on Saturday, May 24th for seeds #2 through #7, with the #1 seed having a bye. Should The Highlanders secure the #1 seed, then their first home playoff game with be Saturday, May 31st. Otherwise, The Highlanders will host their first playoff game on Saturday, May 24th.
